Job summary

Galway Simon Community is seeking a Team Leader to manage the County Community Housing Service across Galway. You will lead a team of staff and volunteers, oversee daily operations, and ensure services meet best practice standards and client needs.

The role involves service development, supervision, and ensuring robust administration, risk management, and on-call responsibilities within a Specific Purpose Contract, full-time 37-hour week. Location: Galway County and Surrounds.

Qualifications

• CORU registration or Level 7 degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in care settings.
• Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Homeless Services in County Galway.
• Lead and motivate staff and volunteers to ensure safe, responsive services.
• Ensure services align with National Quality Standards Framework for Homeless Services.
• Develop care plans and coordinate with clients, staff, and agencies to help clients achieve goals.
