Job summary

Alice Public Relations in Dublin is seeking an Operations & Finance Manager to lead financial administration, governance, data management and system ownership.

You will manage month-end, budgeting, forecasting, VAT liaison, payroll coordination and cross-functional projects, while supporting leadership.

Hybrid, five days per week, with responsibilities spanning HR, compliance, IT coordination and process improvements, including leading two part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in a finance administration and/or operations role.
• Excellent Excel and wider MS Office skills.
• Experience of line management.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse workstreams.
• Discretion and reliability when handling sensitive financial and people data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare client contracts and invoices with information from client-facing teams.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, and expense processing.
• Monitor project costs, expenses and allocations.
• Manage month-end activities and bank reconciliations.
• Support forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking.
• Liaise with external accountancy firm for VAT returns and year-end accounts.
• Lead cross-functional projects and initiative delivery including the Alice Academy for Activists.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
