Job summary

Mane Contract Services in Dublin is seeking an experienced ICT Estimator to join an established team delivering complex engineering and construction projects across Europe’s most technically demanding environments.

As the ICT Estimator you will prepare competitive tenders and detailed estimates for pre-design and Design & Build projects, working with Project Managers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate, timely bids.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing detailed estimates and competitive tenders.
• Take-offs from tender drawings.
• Reviewing labour rates and project costs.
• Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor quotations.
• Ensuring estimates meet project specifications.

We are currently seeking an ICT Estimator to join an established team delivering complex engineering and construction projects across some of Europe’s most technically demanding environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson, ICT professional or construction candidate with strong commercial awareness to develop their career within a leading construction organisation.

The Role:

As an ICT Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing competitive tenders and detailed estimates for pre-design and Design & Build projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed estimates and competitive tenders
• Completing take-offs from tender drawings
• Reviewing labour rates and project costs
• Obtaining and compiling specialist subcontractor quotations
• Ensuring subcontractor quotations comply with project specifications
• Attending pre- and post-tender interviews
• Working closely with Project Managers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Supporting cost and valuation reconciliations
• Ensuring estimates are completed accurately and within strict deadlines
