Job summary

Nord Anglia International School Dublin seeks a strategic Head of Secondary to lead the IB MYP and DP programmes, shaping teaching, learning and student wellbeing across the secondary years. You will sit on the Senior Leadership Team, guide curriculum and assessment, and oversee staff development and safeguarding.

You will engage with families, lead admissions for the secondary, and collaborate with an international network through Nord Anglia Education.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status with honours degree and substantial international secondary education experience.
• Extensive IB MYP and DP experience, including leadership roles in an international setting.
• Ability to lead curriculum development, improve teaching quality, and use data to raise standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Secondary development plan and strengthen MYP/DP curriculum and assessment.
• Manage and develop a team of middle leaders, teachers and support staff.
• Oversee admissions, school representation at events, and community partnerships.
• Ensure safeguarding, budget management, timetabling and compliance with IB and local requirements.
