Job summary

Stantec is hiring a Hydrologist to join its water and environment team in Ireland. You will deliver hydrological assessments, support regulatory submissions, and contribute to a diverse project portfolio across infrastructure and development.

You will develop expertise in flood risk, drainage design, and environmental reporting while working within a multidisciplinary organization that values professional development and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in surface water assessments and flood risk management within regulatory context.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation of hydrological and meteorological data.
• Proven ability to prepare technical reports and environmental submissions.

Responsibilities

• Undertake hydrological assessments including FRA and drainage impact studies.
• Collect and interpret hydrological/meteorological data.
• Support preparation of technical reports and EIAR inputs.
• Contribute to project scoping, planning and programming.
