Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment has partnered with a major Dublin-based bank to hire a Technical Architect for the EMEA Regulatory Reporting Technology team. The role focuses on driving architectural vision, designing scalable solutions and ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy.

The successful candidate will lead design discussions, review architecture, and guide the engineering teams to deliver secure, performant and maintainable systems within a hybrid, South Dublin setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering complex software architectures.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and data concepts.
• Proven ability to lead technology teams and align business goals with IT strategy.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the architecture roadmap and solution designs.
• Lead design discussions and ensure architectural quality and non-functional requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple technologies and teams.
• Mentor engineers on best practices and architecture standards.
• Collaborate with business to translate requirements into scalable architectures.
• Identify risks and mitigations, and drive implementation decisions.
