Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Operations’ Research and Development Centre in Galway is seeking a Systems/Software Engineer intern to work on a full-stack project within an Agile team. The role requires enrollment at a university and eligibility to work in Ireland full-time during the internship.

The position starts 11 January 2027 for ~8 months, with a hybrid arrangement requiring an average of 2 days per week in an HPE office in Galway. Mentorship will be provided throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a University during the internship and eligible to work in Ireland full-time during the internship.
• You will work on a Scrum team in an Agile environment and learn modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to full-stack software development across the stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver well-tested releases.
• Learn and apply modern tooling in a DevOps-focused pipeline.
