Job summary

MongoDB Inc. is seeking an experienced systems programmer to join the Server Programmability team in Dublin. The role focuses on operating system, development tools, and low-level C++ libraries to accelerate feature work with safety and velocity.

You will write production-ready C++ code, contribute tests in C++, Javascript, and Python, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality features for MongoDB Server.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems programming in C++ or other low-level languages.
• Hands-on experience building production-level code with C++.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and software design.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and improve MongoDB Server Programmability features.
• Lead medium-sized projects related to the team's charter.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the project lifecycle from ideation to delivery.
• Write production-ready code in C++ and write unit/integration tests in C++, Javascript, and Python.
• Interview candidates for software engineering positions and handle customer escalations.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to large initiatives.
