Job summary

Simply Social in Dublin is seeking a Social Creative to join our growing, social-first team. You’ll turn briefs into entertaining ideas for ambitious brands, across campaigns, always-on content and creator partnerships.

You’ll research trends, write scripts and treatments, shoot and edit on phone, and collaborate with strategists, designers and production teams to bring ideas to life. A portfolio showing strong social ideas and a feel for internet culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a social first creative role within an agency or brand.
• A portfolio showing strong ideas and your contribution to the work.
• Strong writing skills, particularly for short-form video and social content.
• A good understanding of TikTok, Instagram, creators and internet culture.
• An instinct for humour, storytelling and what makes people stop scrolling.
• The ability to adapt your thinking and writing to different brands.
• A collaborative approach, openness to feedback and confidence sharing ideas.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work across several briefs.
• Experience with food, drink, FMCG or lifestyle brands is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Develop social-first concepts across TikTok, Instagram and other relevant platforms.
• Shoot and edit phone lead content using capcut and or Adobe suite.
• Write scripts, captions and treatments that capture each brand’s voice.
• Find trends, cultural moments and audience insights that can inspire relevant ideas.
• Create repeatable content formats that give brands a distinctive presence.
• Create reactive content based on social trends.
• Work with strategy to ensure ideas answer the brief and support client objectives.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, copywriters and production teams to bring concepts to life.
• Contribute to shoots, helping shape performances, humour and storytelling.
• Build creative presentations and share your ideas clearly with colleagues and clients.
• Respond to feedback thoughtfully and develop ideas through to final execution.
• Learn from content performance and apply those insights to future work.
• Manage your deadlines and keep the team informed as projects progress.
