Job summary

Medtronic plc in Galway is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead product lifecycle activities within the Acute Care & Monitoring unit. You will drive projects, manage BOM updates, and collaborate with global vendors to sustain production and implement product changes.

The role requires a biomedical/engineering background, strong project management, and experience in medical devices. This is a hybrid role with a competitive salary package in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Software, Materials, Industrial Engineering or Science related field.
• 3+ years in sustaining/manufacturing engineering environment.
• 3+ years project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation to completion following CDP and applicable procedures.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing for project execution.
• Maintain BOM, Design History Files, and Technical File Documentation.
