Job summary

KPMG Ireland is seeking a Manager-level professional to lead cost management and quantity surveying for Mechanical & Electrical works within a hybrid Dublin setting. You will collaborate with Directors to oversee multiple €1m–€50m+ projects, driving cost control, procurement advice, and client engagement.

You’ll mentor junior staff and contribute to the firm’s high-quality advisory services, while benefiting from KPMG’s learning resources and diverse project exposure in the construction sector.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying / M&E discipline.
• Chartered QS status (RICS/CIOB or equivalent).
• Experience advising on procurement, cost, value and risk for M&E projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for M&E works from project inception to completion.
• Work with an Associate or Director to manage and deliver multiple projects, typically €1m–€50m+ in value.
• Drive performance standards through effective communication and the performance management process.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships to enhance the firm's profile as a premium provider.
• Mentor junior staff to deliver Cost Management for M&E efficiently and effectively.
• Provide procurement advice and support value/risk management for M&E works.
