ESB Networks Telecoms Fibre Programme Delivery role based in Leopardstown Road. The successful candidate will deploy, commission and maintain ESB’s national telecoms network, including fibre, copper and associated cabling, while coordinating 3rd party contractors and upholding safety standards.

We seek a candidate with 3rd level qualifications or relevant trade experience, COFI training, a clean driving licence, and strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.

Formación

• 3rd Level NFQ Level 6/7 in electrical/telecommunications/IT or equivalent work experience
• COFI training or equivalent
• Full clean driving licence and access to a car
• Safety-focused approach to work duties
• Experience with fibre optic cables and electrical systems
• Experience with safety documentation preparation
• Stakeholder engagement experience
• Awareness of telecommunications technologies
• HV environment familiarity

Responsabilidades

• Involvement in deploying and integrating new infrastructure into ESB’s Telecoms network
• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of Fibre Optic, Copper Network, and cabling
• Prioritise faults and urgent tasks; ensure safety and timeliness
• Coordinate 3rd party contractors
• Support, maintain and fault-find fibre and copper networks
• Participate in safety, quality and high-performance culture
• Provide project management support for telecoms projects
• Engage with Networks Telecoms stakeholders professionally
• Participate in training and development within team
