Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd is recruiting a Lead Data Engineer based in Dublin for a 6-month hybrid contract. You will own the technical strategy and delivery of the data and analytics engineering function, leading a team of Data Engineers on a Microsoft Fabric platform.

You will set architecture, standards and roadmaps for ingestion through modelling, and collaborate with BI, Data Governance and analytics teams to ensure governed, self-service data delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous Senior/Lead Data Engineer with hands-on data modelling experience.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience setting technical architecture and standards for pipelines and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical strategy and architecture across ingestion, transformation and semantic layers.
• Own platform reliability, scalability and cost, prioritising investments against demand and risk.
• Set data modelling and documentation standards in the data catalogue for self-service analytics.
