Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Galway, Ireland, invites a Cloud Developer Intern to join the PIE team. The role focuses on cloud-based solutions, data handling, and hands-on learning across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

You will work in a hybrid setup with roughly 2 days in the office, starting 11 January 2027 for about eight months. Mandatory: enrolled in a university and eligible to work full-time in Ireland during the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java, or similar) and cloud concepts.
• Demonstrates problem-solving skills with guidance from mentors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development: support design, prototyping, and implementation of cloud-based solutions.
• Apply foundational technical skills to analyze data and troubleshoot issues in cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project managers, senior developers, and other interns to ensure smooth delivery and operation of cloud projects.
• Learn and assist in monitoring cloud environments and tools for reliability and performance.
• Contribute to documentation of code, processes, and procedures.
