Job summary

TensorX, based in Dublin, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our product engineering team. Reporting to the CTO, you will own hiring, coaching and delivery for engineers building our customer-facing platform, while staying close to code and architecture to earn trust with senior ICs.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-moving scaleup. You will help shape the product organisation as we scale from a small team and maintain high standards for delivery and collaboration

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering and hands-on senior IC on modern full-stack or platform work.
• 2+ years leading engineers as a manager or equivalent (hiring, coaching).
• Strong judgment across TypeScript/JavaScript stacks (React/Next.js, Node.js).
• Experience shipping SaaS or developer-facing products in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring, coaching and performance management of engineers.
• Define lightweight delivery processes (planning, reviews, releases) to improve predictability.
• Guide architectural decisions and ensure quality, security, and operability.
• Collaborate with backend, inference and platform teams to align product work.
