Job summary

Clúid Housing in Dublin/Leinster offers a hybrid role for an HVAC Technician responsible for domestic heating and ventilation systems across the country.

You will maintain and repair heat pumps and related technologies, provide technical support to in-house operatives, and work with Asset Management to improve servicing processes. Strong safety and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Certifications in heat pump or HVAC-related trades are required.
• Solid understanding of health & safety in workplace environments.
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical faults in heating systems.
• Experience with renewable heating technologies is preferred.
• Capacity to train and support colleagues and residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance of heat pumps and other renewable systems.
• Repair heat pumps and renewables in tenants' homes.
• On-site fault finding and problem solving.
• Provide technical support to servicing operatives and planners.
• Triage repair calls with housing advisors to determine escalation.
• Ensure quality inspections of subcontractor work.
