Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with design or construction administration of electrical distribution systems from low to high voltage.
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering for mission-critical facilities such as data centers.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create construction drawings, specs and submittals.
• Experience with EPMS/SCADA/BMS controls software or hardware.
• Experience in project management including RFQ/RFP processes and coordinating teams.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office.

Key job responsibilities

• Design and manage high and medium voltage substation systems across multiple geographical regions
• Develop comprehensive electrical infrastructure designs using advanced engineering software
• Collaborate with regional vendors, manufacturers, and utility providers to specify optimal electrical equipment
• Create detailed construction documents and technical specifications that meet rigorous quality standards
• Support project lifecycle from site selection through commissioning and system validation.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with design or construction administration of a variety of electrical distribution systems ranging from low voltage to high voltage
• Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
• Experience with EPMS/SCADA/BMS controls system software or hardware
• Experience in project management or as a project lead including RFQ/RFP process, selecting engineering teams, developing budgets, coordinating multiple consultant teams and facilitating meetings
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineering or Architectural License
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region
• Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
• Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
• Experience using a variety of web-based and other software tools for calculation and data processing
