Job Description:

  • Assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities
  • Promote residents' dignity, independence, and emotional well-being
  • Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
  • Maintain hygiene and infection control
  • Ensure safety, assist with falls prevention and mobility
  • Support patient transport and respond promptly to call bells
  • Communicate respectfully and seek help when needed

Job Requirements:

  • QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support, Pre-nursing, or Community Care (all 8 modules, 120 credits)
  • Eligible to work in Ireland - EU passport or valid GNIB Card: Stamp 1G, 4, 5, or Blue Card
  • Full vaccination record (Hep B, MMR, TB, Varicella)
  • International Clearance if you have lived in a country/countries other than Republic of Ireland while over the age of 16 for more than 6 months
  • Current employment as a Healthcare Assistant/Carer (6 months minimum, proof of employment required)

Hours Of Work:

12-hour shifts, 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am
