Job summary

Hunter Savage is recruiting an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager for an established manufacturing business in Munster, Ireland. You will own the development, implementation and continuous improvement of HSE programmes across the site, reporting to the HR Manager.

The role covers compliance, risk management, audits, training, incident investigation, emergency preparedness, and includes acting as GDPR Officer and supporting insurance matters.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Health & Safety Manager in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and risk assessment.
• Experience auditing, inspections and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with H&S legislation and internal policies.
• Maintain and improve HSE Management System.
• Lead inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Coordinate training and inductions.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Act as GDPR Officer and liaise with insurers.
