Job summary

Zurich Life Assurance Ltd seeks an HR Business Consultant to support the HR Business Partnering team on the employee lifecycle, reporting and analytics in a 12-month fixed-term role. You will deliver accurate HR data, manage governance, and help drive continuous improvement across HR processes.

The role covers onboarding, performance, absence management and inclusion initiatives, with collaboration across HR Partners, HR Operations and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline is desirable.
• 3+ years’ experience in an HR role, HR coordination or HR Business Partnering support.
• Good understanding of core HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience supporting HR projects and annual HR processes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and handling confidential information.
• Experience with HR reports and people metrics using Excel.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience supporting Employee Relations and knowledge of employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR Business Partnering team with generalist HR activity across the employee lifecycle.
• Assist with annual HR cycles, performance reviews, talent reviews and engagement surveys.
• Provide practical HR support to managers and employees following Zurich policies.
• Prepare HR documentation, trackers and analyses for decision-making and governance.
• Maintain HR reports and people metrics for Zurich Life (headcount, attrition, diversity).
• Monitor HR trends and risks to inform leadership and planning.
• Collaborate with HR Operations to ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Maintain Excel-based HR trackers and reporting tools for day-to-day activity.
• Support internal mobility and skills development using data-informed insights.
