Job summary

Flex in Dundalk, Ireland, is hiring an HR Generalist to provide generalist HR support, manage recruitment for DL/IDL roles, and advise managers on ER matters. The role requires familiarity with HR policies, employment law, and benefits administration.

The position reports to the HR Operations Lead and offers a hybrid work model in a dynamic, inclusive environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• 3rd level degree qualified in HR or business/commerce with an HR specialisation.
• 1-2+ years’ experience in a similar level HR role.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with TMS system, DocuSign and Workday preferable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A positive people focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide generalist Human Resources support across the business in line with company policies and procedures.
• Manage recruitment function for DL roles and support IDL roles, coordinating interviews, reference checks, contracts and paperwork.
• Employee relations – act as a key point of contact for managers on ER matters including discipline, grievances, absence and performance management.
• Manage ER processes – investigations, disciplinaries, grievances in line with legislation and best practice.
• Keep up to date with employment legislation and support changes via HR policies and procedures.
• Provide support on HR projects, initiatives and events.
• Assist with administration related to employee benefits.
• Support the shared HR inbox and respond to queries.
• Other duties within HR as required.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission‑critical applications.

The HR Generalist will be based in Dundalk, Ireland reporting to HR Operations Lead.

What a typical day looks like:

• Provide generalist Human Resources support across the business, in line with company policies and procedures
• Manage recruitment function for DL roles and support with IDL roles, e.g., coordinating interviews, reference checking, contract and paperwork issue and working with the appropriate manager throughout the process
• Employee Relations– Act as a key point of contact in providing advice to managers at all levels on a broad range of HR/ER matters including but not limited to discipline, grievance, absence management, performance management, sickness absence and policies;
• Manage ER processes – Investigations, disciplinaries, grievance etc. in line with employment legislation and best practice
• Keep up to date with employment legislation and support in implementing changes as required through HR company policies and procedures
• Provide support on HR projects, initiatives and special events as required.
• Assist with the implementation and management of administration in relation to employee benefits
• Support the shared HR inbox, triage and respond to queries.
• Other duties and responsibilities within the HR function generally

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• 3rd level degree qualified ideally in HR or business/commerce with a HR specialisation.
• 1-2+ years’ experience in a similar level HR role.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with TMS system, DocuSign and Workday preferable but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven ability to work on your own initiative
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
