Overview

A leading financial services business in Dublin is seeking a HR Advisor/ HR Executive to join their people team. This is a 6 month contract to start with and is a great opportunity to work in a corporate environment with lots of scope to support general HR services.

What you’ll do
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to provide interview planning, clear communication, and support throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, offering guidance on policies and systems to managers and staff.
  • Process joiners, changes, and leavers efficiently while maintaining accurate HRIS updates and payroll coordination.
  • Support employee relations cases (e.g., performance management, absence management) with empathetic guidance.
  • Draft and update HR policies to ensure compliance with Irish employment law and best practices.
What you bring
  • Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in a generalist or advisory HR role within financial services or another regulated sector (experience in a financial services regulated environment if preferable)
  • Proven track record managing full recruitment cycles while delivering a positive candidate experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and confidence advising on employee relations matters.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll reporting accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships across all organisational levels.
  • Proactive team player with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
