At Sky Handling Partner, our people are our most valuable asset! We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our dynamic HR team as an HR Administrator, supporting one of Ireland's leading aviation ground handling companies.

In this vital role, you will provide HR guidance and support to business managers across various areas, ensuring compliance with policies, legislation, and company initiatives. You'll play a key role in talent acquisition, development, and retention while actively supporting employee relations and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

The Role:

The HR Administrator will act as a trusted advisor to business managers, delivering proactive support and solutions in all areas of HR. From recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and performance management, this role ensures the smooth operation of HR processes while driving engagement and compliance across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Recruit, select, and onboard high-calibre candidates within defined timelines to meet business needs
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new employees, promoting a positive start to their journey with SHP

Talent Management:

  • Identify, retain, and develop talent through the use of supporting programmes and initiatives
  • Assist with the implementation of an Employee Performance Appraisal System across all departments

Employee Relations:

  • Support employee relations matters in collaboration with the HR Business Partner and Operations Management
  • Provide guidance to department managers on addressing substandard performance, ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures

Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Assist in policy development and documentation, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
  • Monitor employee safety, welfare, and wellness, driving initiatives to enhance workplace well-being

Retention and Engagement:

  • Implement and maintain staff retention policies and practices to enhance employee engagement
  • Develop and administer employee reward and recognition programmes to foster a positive work environment

HR Systems and Reporting:

  • Maintain and update HR-related IT systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Generate payroll data for joiners, leavers, and changes in alignment with the payroll schedule

Communication and Strategy:

  • Aid in developing and implementing internal communication strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with managers to align HR practices with business objectives

Additional Duties:

Liaise with key stakeholders to support operational needs and ensure HR alignment with business goals.

Undertake other duties as assigned to support the HR function.

Contract and Hours:

This role is based in our Head Quarters in Dublin Airport. You will work from 09:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team environment. While the primary focus of your responsibilities will be within the office, there may be occasional travel requirements for our team in Shannon and London to support various projects and initiatives.
