Overview

Role: HR Admin - Permanent - Monaghan

VANRATH is delighted to partner with a returning client in Monaghan, to appoint a dedicated HR Administrator. This is a key support role within the HR function, providing essential assistance to the HR team in maintaining accurate records across all HR systems, coordinating recruitment, and supporting training administration.

What you’ll do
  • Update and manage HR systems and personnel files, ensuring accuracy, GDPR compliance, and up-to-date employee records (contracts, changes, absences, training, and disciplinary actions).
  • Prepare regular HR reports on headcount, turnover, training activity, and other workforce metrics.
  • Support attendance management, including holiday tracking, absence reporting, and time-keeping processes.
  • Assist with audits, health and safety documentation, and wider compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the training matrix, schedule internal/external courses, and maintain accurate participation and renewal records.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including job adverts, candidate screening, interviews, offers, pre-employment checks, contracts, and inductions.
What you’ll need
  • Previous hands-on experience in a HR department, with working knowledge of employment legislation relating to areas such as sick leave, annual leave, and GDPR compliance.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining HR systems and employee records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas and data manipulation for reporting purposes.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft clear correspondence and reports.
