Job summary

AnovoCare Nursing Home, part of Trinity Care Group, located in Swords, Co. Dublin, is seeking a dedicated cleaner with laundry responsibilities. The role centers on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across all areas and ensuring client spaces remain neat and well serviced.

You will handle bed linens and personal items, use cleaning products safely, and report any faults to management. This is an on-site position within a well-respected, multi-award-winning care group offering

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning chemicals and safe handling.
• Ability to maintain high cleanliness standards across all areas.
• Ability to manage laundry duties including bed linens and personal items.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness in your allocated area.
• Carry out duties in the laundry including bed linens and personal items for clients.
• Maintain trolley, press, and working area; restock before and after shifts; ensure presses are secure.
• Understand usage, safety and hazards of all chemicals and cleaning products.
• Record keeping and reporting of issues to supervisor.
• Maintain good order and appearance of your area and equipment at all times.
• Use materials and equipment efficiently and economically.
• Adhere to specifications, standards, and procedures while at work.
• Report mechanical defects and needs for repairs.
• Take steps to ensure security of your area and all equipment and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

To ensure the highest standard of cleanliness in all areas at all times. Responsible for carrying out of your duties in the laundry including bed linens etc., and personal items for clients.

Duties

• To be responsible for the thorough servicing of your allocated area to the defined standard.


• To offer excellent service to all clients/visitors and ensure that all queries, complaints and compliments are relayed back to your supervisor.


• To maintain the appearance of your trolley, press and working area at all times, restocking your trolley before going off duty, and ensuring presses are secure.


• To have an understanding of usage, safety and hazards of all chemicals and cleaning products.


• Record keeping.


• Ensure that you maintain the cleanliness and good order of your area of assignment and associated areas to the highest possible standard.


• Ensure efficient and economical use of materials and equipment.


• To adhere to specifications, standards and procedures while at work.


• To report mechanical defects and needs for repairs.


• To take all necessary steps to ensure the maximum security of your area of assignment and all equipment and supplies contained therein.


• To carry our any reasonable requests by management
