Job summary

Midlands Park Hotel is seeking an Accommodation Linen Porter to support the Accommodation Department. You will help ensure linen for guest rooms, public areas and bars is serviced to high standards throughout the day and evening, and you will support a smooth flow of linen to and from the department.

The role requires maintaining hygiene, uniform standards, and safety practices while greeting guests kindly and assisting team members as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of service at all times.
• Greet guests in a friendly manner and provide assistance as needed.
• Ensure correct standards of uniform, hygiene, appearance and behaviour.
• Check linen delivery docket for accuracy.
• Collect soiled linen from all floors and stock pantries with clean linen.
• Maintain stock control of linen with counts recorded on Mon/Wed/Fri and at end of day.
• Keep linen room and laundry clean and tidy, and secure when not in use.
