Job summary

Neville Hotel Group in Waterford is seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our on-site team, delivering high standards of cleanliness across multiple kitchens.

You will wash and sanitize equipment, maintain cleaning schedules, and assist with deliveries and stock rotation while complying with health and safety regulations. This casual, part-time role offers opportunities for progression and staff perks including hotel discounts and a biking to work scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen porter experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of hygiene, health & safety procedures.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and to working on own initiative.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all kitchens are maintained to the highest hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Wash and sanitize of all kitchen equipment, crockery, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations.
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and storage of goods.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly.
