Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a pharmacy support worker to join the rotational team based at Raigmore Hospital. The post holder will participate in rotations across clinical, distribution, dispensary and QA activities, delivering dispensing duties and medicines management within a busy pharmacy setting.

The role requires SVQ in Pharmacy Services (SCQF Level 6) or equivalent and at least three National 4 qualifications in English, Maths and a Science subject, with weekend/public holiday rotas expected.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in any pharmacy sector is essential.
• SVQ in Pharmacy Services (SCQF Level 6) or equivalent.
• Minimum of three National 4 qualifications in English, Maths and a Science Subject.

Responsibilities

• Participate in varied rotations as part of clinical, distribution, dispensary and quality assurance pharmacy teams.
• Perform a range of dispensing duties, medicines management and supply, and quality assurance tasks.
