Job description

Position: Clerical Officer

Location: Dublin D16

Role: Permanent Full Time - 39 hours per week.

Salary: 38,000 - 42,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Start: ASAP

What You'll Do:

    • Collation and maintenance of patient files
    • Filing and documentation management
    • Delivery and collection of files and paperwork to/from clinical teams
    • Maintaining up-to-date records of file locations
    • Monitoring and responding to emails
    • Assisting with the Patient Register
    • Coordinating offsite storage and retrieval of files
    • Scanning and sending patient information to hospitals and doctors
    • Printing patient labels as needed
    • Keeping offices stocked and tidy
    • Maintaining efficient general office procedures
    • Liaising with internal departments and external agencies confidentially and professionally
    • Providing cover within the Patient Administration team as required
    • Maintaining strict confidentiality and attention to detail at all times
    • Ensuring compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
    • Assisting with file archiving and document preparation for Subject Access Requests/Freedom of Information
    • Supporting data entry into quality management systems
    • Providing admin support to the Electronic Patient Record Implementation Team
    • Assisting in the transition from paper to electronic medical records

About You:

  • You bring at least 2 years of experience in administration.
  • You excel at IT systems and data management, with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in mental health settings or regulatory compliance is a plus!
