Job description

Location:

Ballygiblin, Mallow, Co. Cork is location of depot. The successful person will travel from this depot to customer quarries each day.

Summary of Requirements:

Th e safe loading and operation of Pump and Box Trucks within specified limits and quality specification which requires manual work.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

On Site

• Unload the truck at customer premises in accordance with procedures. This involves the delivering of products to the quarry bench top at one or more quarries over a normal working day.

• Carry out Stemming of blast holes.

• Carry out instructions issued by your manager.

• Wash vehicles on a regular basis, as required.

Health, Safety and Security

• Comply with all company health, safety and security policies, procedures and statutory regulations and the wearing of appropriate PPE.

• Comply with customers’ site rules.

• Comply with specified security requirements.

• Report all incidents and near misses to your manager.

Maintenance

• Ensure a high level of cleanliness of the operating equipment and Kemex truck.

• Ensure that all defects are reported in a timely manner and liaise with your manager to ensure defects are corrected.

• Ensure the depot, grounds and equipment are kept in good repair and well maintained. Report any issues to your manager.

Customer Service

• All employees will present themselves in a professional manner and wear a uniform as specified.

• Establish, maintain, and develop good customer relationships.

• Report all incidents at any customer premises to your manager.
