Job summary

Comfort Homecare, Ireland's leading family-run homecare provider, is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support clients around Cavan Town and surrounding areas. The role offers part-time or full-time hours (18–40 weekly) with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

You’ll be delivering compassionate, person-centered care, maintaining documentation, and following established procedures. A QQI Level 5 qualification and a valid driving licence are preferred; full training is provided.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent is required or commitment to complete.
• Reliable, dependable and adaptable with a positive attitude.
• Experience in caregiving is preferred and beneficial.
• Valid full driving licence with access to personal transport.

Earn from €15 per hour with enhanced Sunday rates, €10 for 30-minute visits, plus Ireland's most competitive mileage allowance at 41c per kilometre.

Essential Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent (or commitment to complete)
• Consistent reliability and dependability
• Valid full driving licence with access to personal transport
• Adaptable approach with positive attitude

• Strong interpersonal and practical capabilities
• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Ability to work evenings and weekends

Required Experience:

• Healthcare Assistant: minimum 1 year

Qualifications:

• Care Skills & Elderly Care Certificate or Healthcare Support qualification (preferred)
• Valid full driving licence (essential)
