Job summary

Comfort Homecare is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support clients around Birr and the wider region. Earn from €15 per hour with enhanced Sunday rates, plus 41c per kilometre travel allowance.

Part-time and full-time roles available, with 18–40 hours per week and shifts mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. We provide fully funded QQI Level 5 and 6 training, comprehensive manual handling, weekly payments, and a supportive family-run environment.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent (or commitment to complete).
• Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude.
• Valid full driving licence with access to personal transport.
• Adaptable approach and caring mindset.

• Strong interpersonal and practical capabilities.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Required Experience:

• Healthcare Assistant: minimum 1 year

• Care Skills & Elderly Care Certificate or Healthcare Support qualification (preferred)
• Valid full driving licence (essential)
