Job summary

Circet IRE & UK in Kerry and the wider Munster region is seeking a qualified Electrician to install, test and commission domestic EV chargers and solar PV systems. This field-based role emphasizes safe installation and high-quality service for residential customers.

You will perform testing and commissioning, stay compliant with 18th Edition wiring rules, and maintain thorough installation documentation while providing clear, on-site explanations to homeowners.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with Level 6 or equivalent.
• Experience with domestic electrical installations, solar PV and EV charging points.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Inspection and testing certification.
• Valid QC number preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installations of domestic EV charging systems and solar PV systems.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, codes, and regulations during Home Energy installations.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in electrical systems, equipment, and tools for EV chargers and PV installations.
• Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and explain installation procedures.
• Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and commissioning to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Complete and submit installation documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide on-site explanations of systems to homeowners.
• Keep up to date with latest regulations and home energy technologies.
