Job summary

Be Independent Home Care Ltd in Ireland is recruiting Homecare Assistant Team Leads to work full time, covering Ashbourne, Dunboyne, Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath and surrounding areas. This role offers clear progression opportunities in home care.

You will mentor and shadow new carers, assist with client files and ensure high standards of care. A full driving license, access to your own vehicle, QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, and 1 year of home care experience are essential.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Care Skills required.
• Care of the Older Person QQI module required.
• Fluent English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial care to clients and implement care plans.
• Shadow and mentor new Homecare Assistants.
• Assist with administration of client files in clients' homes.
• Collect and deliver PPE as needed.
• Take on cover calls for other carers’ sick/annual leave.
• Perform other duties as required by the company.
