Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Ireland is seeking caring individuals to provide in-home support and personal care within the community. You will assist clients with mobility, dressing and continence care while ensuring dignity and privacy.

Meal preparation, light housekeeping and medication prompts are also part of the role. Travel between client visits in your local area is required, with strong emphasis on building trust with clients and families.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable; training support provided.
• A genuine motivation to support people in your community to live with independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management.
• Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
