Job summary

DOYLE CONCRETE is seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to inspect, repair and maintain our fleet of heavy trucks and trailers in Ireland. You will perform routine inspections, diagnose faults, carry out repairs and preventative maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, hold Level 6 qualifications (incl Higher Advanced Certificate & National Craft Certificate) and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance.

• English fluency (C2) required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain fleet of heavy trucks and trailers.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidates duties will include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of Heavy trucks, trailers, and other machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance.This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for mechanical work and problem-solving to contribute to the smooth running of our operations.

DutiesConduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify faults or potential issues.Perform repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.Troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently and effectively, ensuring minimal downtime.Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs carried out.Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades as required.Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.Collaborate with other team members to optimise maintenance procedures and improve operational efficiency.Applicants should demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
