Job summary

Choice Stores in Clonee, Co. Meath, Ireland is recruiting an HGV driver for a full-time role in its distribution team. The position involves deliveries and warehouse duties at the Ashbourne site, with start times varying across a 40‑hour week.

Applicants must hold a full C licence for at least 1 year, possess a valid CPC and Digital tachograph card, and be familiar with Irish roads. Strong customer service, English communication and willingness to work flexible hours are essential.

Qualifications

• Have held a full C licence for a minimum of 1 year.
• Valid Drivers CPC and Digital card required.
• Be familiar with the Irish Roads network.
• Good communicate skills and ability to communicate in spoken English.
• Previous multi drop experience and an excellent customer service attitude.
• Manual handing and Forklift cert desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be flexible in relation to start times.
• Work as part of a team.
• Completing Daily Vehicle Check Sheets.
• Make on time deliveries and collections daily.
• Ability to unload and load vehicle.
• Work on your own initiative.
• Maintain & return all paperwork associated with deliveries/collections.
• Picking of orders.
• General warehouse work.
• Any other tasks delegated from your Line Manager.

Due to Company expansion we are currently recruiting for a HGV driver to join our team in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. As part of the duties you would be expected to work in our distribution centre also.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Be flexible in relation to start times
• To work as part of a team
• Completing Daily Vehicle Check Sheets
• To make on time deliveries and collections daily
• Ability to unload and load vehicle
• To be able to Work on your own initiative
• Maintain & return all paperwork associated with deliveries/collections
• Picking of orders
• General warehouse work
• Any other tasks delegated from your Line Manager
