Job summary

VENTILATION SURVEYS AND SERVICES IRELAND LIMITED is seeking four Heating & Ventilation Service Technicians (Air Hygiene) for permanent full-time field-based roles. You will maintain and inspect ventilation, air-duct, HVAC and kitchen-extraction systems at customer sites, travelling to premises as part of a mobile service team.

Candidates should have a technical, trade, mechanical or electrical background and good communication skills. Full training, uniform and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to work safely from ladders and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, inspection and servicing on commercial ventilation, air‑duct, HVAC and kitchen‑extraction systems at customer sites.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance visits on HVAC and kitchen‑extraction systems.
• Undertake ventilation hygiene servicing as part of planned maintenance.
• Identify maintenance requirements and system issues and provide recommendations.
• Respond to customer service call-outs and manage van stock where required.
• Accurately recording completed works using the company CRM/service system.

Ventilation Surveys & Services Ireland Limited (VSS Ireland) is seeking four Heating & Ventilation Service Technicians (Air Hygiene) for permanent full-time field-based positions. The successful candidates will carry out maintenance, inspection and servicing work on commercial ventilation, air-duct, HVAC and kitchen-extraction systems at customer sites. Main duties include maintaining and inspecting air-duct and ventilation systems; carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance visits on HVAC and kitchen-extraction systems; undertaking ventilation hygiene servicing as part of planned maintenance; identifying maintenance requirements and system issues; making service and remedial recommendations following inspections and maintenance visits; responding to customer service call-outs; managing van stock where required; and accurately recording completed works using the company CRM/service system. The role is field based and will involve travel to customer premises. Applicants should have a relevant technical, trade, mechanical or electrical background, or suitable experience in ventilation, HVAC, air-handling or related building-services maintenance. Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to work safely from ladders and in confined spaces. Full training, uniform and PPE will be provided. Minimum annual remuneration: €36,605 based on a 39-hour working week. Employment type: Permanent Full-Time.
