Job summary

3Q Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to assist adults with disabilities in West Cork, on a permanent part-time basis (22 hours per week).

You will work in community-based services, delivering person-centred care and supporting independence. The role requires QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or currently completing) or QQI Level 6 Social Care/Nursing, a full driving licence, good English, and a willingness to work across a 24/7 roster.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support or current completion status; OR QQI Level 6 Social Care or Nursing qualification.
• Experience of supporting people with disabilities.
• Full manual driving licence or working towards one; willingness to drive for work.

This permanent part-time opportunity could suit an experienced Healthcare Support Worker, Disability Support Worker, Care Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Carer who is passionate about person-centred care, independence and inclusion.

What You’ll Do

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you’ll provide individualised support based on each person’s needs, goals and personal plan.

You’ll:

• Good written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Availability to work across a 24/7 roster.

Have Care Experience But No QQI Level 5?

You may still be eligible.

Candidates with relevant care experience may be considered if they’re willing to complete QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support within 18 months of starting.
