Westcare Homecare Ltd in Ireland is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support patients in their homes across Williamstown, Glenamaddy, and Kilkerrin. You will work under nursing staff to provide basic care, help with washing, dressing, feeding and mobility, and monitor daily wellbeing.

Applicants should have QQI Level 5, a clean Irish driving license with access to a car, and relevant healthcare experience.

Your Responsibilities

A healthcare assistant supports nurses and other medical staff by providing basic patient care, such as helping with washing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. They monitor patients' conditions, take vital signs, and report any changes to the clinical team. Healthcare assistants also help maintain a clean and safe environment and offer emotional support to patients. Their role is essential in ensuring the comfort and dignity of those receiving care.

Requirements

• Completed in QQI Level 5, working towards or willing to commence
• Full clean Irish Driving License and access to own car
• Relevant experience in the Healthcare sector
• Up to date trainings (PMH, First Aid, HSE Land)
