Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a Home Care Assistant (HCA) for day shifts from 10:00 to 22:00, 3–4 days per week, in the client’s home to support an adult male with an acquired brain injury.

The role in Ireland includes personal care, meal preparation, and driving the service user’s car for social activities. Applicants must be over 25 for insurance; epilepsy and meds training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in homecare or with adults who have brain injuries.
• Ability to work day shifts 10:00–22:00.
• Must be over 25 for insurance purposes.
• Epilepsy and meds training required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to the client in the home.

Comfort Keepers are a homecare provider operating for over 20 years. Supporting people to stay living independently in their own homes and communities as safely as possible, while maintaining connection, dignity, confidence, and joy.

They are looking for a HCA for day shifts (10am - 10pm) for 3 - 4 days per week. This is for an initial 3 month period with the possibility of extending.

Staff would be supporting an adult male with an acquired brain injury in his home.

Personal care, preparing food and driving the service users car for social activities all involved in the role (staff must be over the age of 25 for insurance purposes)
