Job summary

HMCK Healthcare Limited is seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our team across multiple locations in Ireland, including Ardee and Dundalk. You will support patients with personal care, assist with mobility, and help during mealtimes in a compassionate, clinical environment.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience, Level 5 qualification, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Healthcare Assistant.
• Level 5 qualification or equivalent required.
• English proficiency suitable for healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and repositioning to promote comfort and safety.
• Provide assistance during mealtimes and feeding when required.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the care setting.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Monitor and report changes in patients' health or behaviour.
• Promote dignity, independence and respect in all aspects of care.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
