Job summary

CareChoice Group Ireland is seeking full-time or part-time Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Cork. You will support nursing staff, provide holistic care to residents, assist with personal care, nutrition, mobility, and end-of-life care in a diverse environment.

The role requires QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or working towards; strong communication and English skills; and flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or working towards it.
Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring attitude.
Good level of English language skills.
Availability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends.

Responsibilities

Support the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to residents.
Ensure residents’ hygiene and personal care are maintained with dignity.
Assist residents with eating and drinking according to nutrition needs.
Assist residents with mobilising and using aids as appropriate.
Escort or transfer residents as directed by nursing staff.
Assist in End-of-Life Care.
Any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management.
