Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Sallynoggin is seeking a Healthcare Assistant/Carer to provide compassionate home support. You will deliver personal care, assist with mobility, meals, and essential daily tasks with dignity.

You will travel between client visits in your local area, keep accurate records, and build trusted relationships with clients and families. Right to work in Ireland is required; QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable, with training and progression opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required.
• Driving licence not required but beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable, support to complete if not held.
• Right to work in Ireland / EU is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observing client wellbeing and escalating concerns to local office management.
• Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.

What the Role Involves

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly rates up to €18.53.


• Premium rates for weekends, bank holidays, qualifications, and length of service, your pay grows with you.


• Travel between client visits in your local area using your own vehicle - mileage fully reimbursed.
