Comfort Keepers is seeking a Healthcare Assistant/Carer to support clients in Ballyvaughan and the surrounding area. You will deliver personal care, assist with daily activities and travel between client visits in your local area, ensuring dignity and independence at home.

The role offers full-time or part-time positions with paid mileage, training (QQI Level 5) and a structured induction, plus ongoing support from a local management team to help you grow into future roles.

Formación

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required.
• Right to work in Ireland and the EU; no visa sponsorship available.
• Driving licence not required but beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable; if not held, support to complete it.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering personal care including mobility assistance, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Observe client wellbeing and escalate concerns to local management.
• Build a professional, trusted relationship with the client and family.

What the Role Involves

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly rates up to €18.53.

• Minimum Qualification: No Qualification
• EU/EEA citizenship or an unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required.
• A driving licence is not required for this role but is beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable, if you do not hold it, we will fully support you to complete it.
• A genuine motivation to support people in your community to live with independence and dignity.
• Right to Work: Applicants must be legally entitled to work within Ireland and the EU. No visa sponsorship is available. We are currently only accepting applications from candidates who reside in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland for the role.
