Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Ireland is seeking caring individuals to provide in-home personal care and support for clients in their local area. You will assist with mobility, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, ensuring dignity and independence for clients.

Travel between client visits is required; mileage is reimbursed. Full-time or part-time roles are available, with free QQI Level 5 training, induction, and access to online learning.

Qualifications

EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable; supported for completion if not held.

Responsibilities

Delivering personal care including mobility support, dressing and continence care with dignity and respect.
Assisting with meals and light housekeeping; providing medication prompts and maintaining records.
Travel between client visits within local area; observe wellbeing and escalate concerns to local office management.
Build professional, trusted relationships with clients and their families; maintain confidentiality.

What the Role Involves

Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times. Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping. Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records. Travel between client visits within your local area. Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management. Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy at all times, the trust of our clients and their families is central to everything we do.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly rates up to €18.53. Premium rates for weekends, bank holidays, qualifications, and length of service, your pay grows with you. Travel between client visits in your local area using your own vehicle - mileage fully reimbursed. Full Time or Part Time positions available. Free QQI Level 5 training, structured induction programme, and access to a certified online learning portal. What We Are Looking For

EU/EEA citizenship or an unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required. A driving licence is not required for this role but is beneficial. QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is desirable, if you do not hold it, we will fully support you to complete it. A genuine motivation to support people in your community to live with independence and dignity.
