CareChoice Group Ireland is seeking Healthcare Assistants (full-time, part-time or relief) to join our Cork homes. You will support the nursing team, deliver holistic care and help residents with daily needs in a diverse, supportive environment.

Formación

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or working towards it.
• Previous care setting experience is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and a warm, caring attitude.
• Strong English language skills.
• Availability for variable shifts including days, nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality holistic care.
• Maintain residents' hygiene and dignity at all times.
• Assist residents with eating and drinking according to nutrition needs.
• Assist residents with mobility and use of aids.
• Escort or transfer residents as directed by nursing staff.
• Assist in End-of-Life Care.
• Any other duties as required by nurse and management.

Full-time/Part-time/Relief Healthcare Assistants

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment whilst working with an experienced team of Healthcare Professionals in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Supporting the nursing staff in providing high-quality holistic care to our residents
• Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the resident's dignity at all time
• Assisting residents with eating and drinking in line with their nutrition needs
• Assisting residents with mobilizing as appropriate and using correct aids
• Escorting or/and transfer residents as directed by the Nursing staff
• Assisting in End-of-Life Care
• Any other duties deemed necessary by nurse and management.

Qualifications And Skills

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare/Relevant healthcare qualification (or working towards).
• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring attitude.
• Have a good level of English language skills
• Availability to work varied shift patterns days, nights & weekends, across Monday to Sunday.
