Job summary

Curam Care Homes in Courtown, Co. Wexford, seeks motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our growing care team. The role offers full-time, part-time and relief hours, with duties to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to high standards.

You will provide holistic, person-centred care, promote independence and enhance residents' quality of life. We welcome applicants with QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support and those currently studying nursing.

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing a career as Healthcare Assistant.
• Enrolled in or completed QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent.
• 1st and 2nd year student nurses are eligible to apply.
• At least 1 year experience in care of the older person or a comparable role is desirable.
• Must be professional, caring and empathetic.
• Good standard of verbal and written English.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, person-centred care to residents.

The Health Care Assistant will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards of care practiced in the relevant care setting. The Health Care Assistant will provide holistic, person centered care, promoting optimum independence and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

• Good standard of verbal and written English.
