Morgan McKinley is working with a leading organisation in the care sector, currently recruiting full-time Healthcare Assistants across multiple locations in the Co. Cork area.

About the Healthcare Assistant Role:

As a Healthcare Assistant you will be part of a dedicated team providing compassionate, person centred support to residents, helping them live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

This role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities Of A Healthcare Assistant:

  • Deliver personalised care and support based on individual needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Encourage community participation and social inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team and families.
  • Promote residents’ health, wellbeing, and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development.

Role Requirements:

  • Level 5 qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in a care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing needs.
  • Full manual driving licence is preferred.
