Job summary

Westcare Homecare Ltd is seeking Healthcare Assistants to support clients in their homes across Kingscourt, Shercock, Butlers Bridge and Belturbet. You will assist with daily tasks, support mobility and provide companionship, while monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns.

Flexible hours, paid mileage, and paid training are provided. Full Irish driving licence and access to a car are required. Prior care experience is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 or equivalent of QQI.
• Full Irish driving licence & access to a car.
• A caring, reliable, and positive attitude.
• Experience in care is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily tasks (washing, dressing, meals).
• Support mobility and independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns.
• Help create a safe, comfortable home environment.
